Charter Policy

Terms governing charter bookings with The Jet Club. Last updated: 2026

About The Jet Club

The Jet Club is an aircraft charter broker and does not operate aircraft. We do not hold an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and act solely as an intermediary, arranging charter services on behalf of our clients through licensed air carriers that hold the appropriate regulatory approvals. All flights are operated by third-party certified operators in full compliance with local and international aviation regulations.

Quotations

All quotations are indicative and subject to aircraft availability, crew duty limitations, slot allocation, airport curfews, weather, and the operator's final acceptance at the time of booking. Prices remain valid for the period stated on each quote and may change if the requested itinerary, passenger numbers, or aircraft category are amended.

Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once a signed charter agreement and payment (or agreed deposit) have been received and the operator has accepted the flight. Until confirmation is received in writing, no flight is guaranteed.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in cleared funds prior to departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept bank transfer and major card payments. Card surcharges may apply.
  • Additional in-flight or on-ground costs (catering, ground transport, de-icing, overnight crew, handling, customs/immigration fees) are billed at cost where not included in the original quote.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation fees apply once a booking is confirmed and increase as the departure time approaches. The exact schedule is set out in the charter agreement and reflects the cancellation terms imposed by the operating carrier. Itinerary changes are accommodated where possible but may incur additional charges.

Passengers, Baggage & Documentation

  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, and any other travel documentation required for their itinerary.
  • Accurate passenger details (full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality) must be supplied prior to departure.
  • Baggage allowance is determined by the operating aircraft and must be agreed in advance. Dangerous goods are prohibited.

Pets & Special Requirements

Pets, special catering, ground transport, and other bespoke requests are accommodated subject to operator approval and applicable regulations. Please advise these requirements at the time of enquiry.

Delays, Diversions & Force Majeure

Safety always takes precedence. Flights may be delayed, diverted, or cancelled due to weather, technical issues, air traffic control restrictions, regulatory action, or other events beyond the reasonable control of the operator or The Jet Club. We will work to provide suitable alternatives but accept no liability for consequential losses.

Safety & Operator Selection

We only place charters with operators that meet recognised safety standards and hold the appropriate AOC for the requested flight. The operating carrier retains operational control of the aircraft and final authority over all flight-related decisions, including go/no-go.

Liability

As a charter broker, our liability is limited to the arrangement of charter services. Liability for the carriage of passengers and baggage rests with the operating carrier in accordance with the relevant international conventions and the carrier's conditions of carriage. We strongly recommend passengers maintain appropriate travel insurance.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is paramount. Personal information collected in the course of arranging a charter is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Queensland courts.
